BRASSERIE HOUPPE
A brewery dating back to 1812 in Namur, producing beers named Houppe, new symbols of the Walloon capital.
A brewery was born here in 1812. Since 2015, the five creators of la Houppe (born in 2013) have set up shop in these historic buildings on the banks of the Meuse. After several months of development, they brew there what has since become one of the new symbols of the Walloon capital. La Houppe (7.5% vol. alc., amber) has since been joined by Jambes en l'Air, which is lighter and lighter (4.8% vol. alc.) than the former, as well as by other niche products. La Houppe features prominently at most Namur events.
