The cable car of Namur overhanging the Sabre river, and allowing a fast ascent from the place Maurice, to the citadel
Inaugurated in May 2021, it comprises four groups of three cabins and replaces, on a new route, the aerial tramway closed in 1997 after forty years of operation. Overlooking the river Sambre, the ropeway provides a rapid ascent from the recently renovated Place Maurice Servais to the top of the citadel. Whether you're simply looking for a (very moderate) thrill ride or an alternative mode of transport, there's no reason why you can't climb to the top or descend into the city.
