ISLAND OF YVOIR
Île d'Yvoir, an island in Wallonia, on the Muse, can be reached in a few minutes, by taking a ferry pulled by a cable
An island in Wallonia, on the Meuse! It is 2.5 hectares in size and is entirely dedicated to tourism. You can reach it in just a minute by taking a ferry connected to a cable driven by an electric motor. The two parts of the island of Yvoir are crossed by a channel and linked by a footbridge. The downstream part, wooded and wilder, is classified as a Natura 2000 area. The upstream area is home to a recreational complex: a grassy beach, children's games, pedal boats, a café-terrace and a restaurant where the barbecue formula is preferred.

Members' reviews on ISLAND OF YVOIR
The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
