This is the main station to the south of the city, and its attractive passenger building dates back to 1912, when it was built for the Universal Exhibition. This is where most trains depart and arrive. Allow 55 minutes for Antwerp, 35 minutes for Brussels, 25 minutes for Bruges and 45 minutes for Ostend. There is also one direct train per hour to Oudenaarde. Ghent-Saint-Pierre station is quite far from the center on foot, so it's best to take streetcar no. 1 or no. 3 (stop on the left as you leave the station, in the tunnel).

Grande gare
Grande gare de correspondance située en bordure de la ville de Gand. La gare est depuis longtemps en travaux. Nombreux services.

Une belle gare, autant de l'extérieur que de l'intérieur !
You must taste the smoothies that are sold in the train station in the reception. They are delicious.
