The Hôtel Gravensteen is nestled in a beautiful mansion dating from 1865 which has been completely restored to its Second Empire splendour. The rooms are cosy and personalised with original wallpaper and bedspreads. They are well-equipped and air-conditioned, some with bathtub. In the morning, a rich and fresh buffet breakfast is served in the cosy Morgenstond breakfast room. A small sauna is also a pleasant place to relax after a day's sightseeing. The prices are quite reasonable for the services.

De kamer was wat later klaar, geen probleem.
Bed enorm zacht en de toilet ontzettend klein.
Badkamer zeer netjes met alles wat je nodig hebt.
Ontbijt in hotel zeer uitgebreid en goed.

De prijs die wij betaalden via aanbieding prima maar voor volle mep zou ik het toch wel wat te duur vinden.
Wij hadden zicht op kasteel Gravensteen.
Parkeren in de buurt bij parking op loopafstand 15 per 24 uur.
In het centrum en vlak bij alle bezienswaardigheden.
Ontbijtbuffet zeer uitgebreid, daar kunnen sommige 5 sterren hotels een voorbeeld aan nemen.
Minpuntje, het bed was te zacht en als je dat niet gewend bent, slaap je minder goed.
Parkeren vlakbij in parking Ramen voor € 15 per dag.

We didn't try the breakfast but the bar and dining space seemed nice enough.
Staff is nice but was totally clueless about why room alarms were going off when people were opening and closing their room doors. Happened multiple times to us and we heard it happen multiple times to other guests. Just a minor glitch in the overall experience, however. Solid hotel.
