Welcome to one of the most beautiful four-star hotels of the town, in Patershol, the oldest area of Ghent. Far from the numerous hotel chains that invades the large towns, this family hotel offers authenticity and a warm welcome. The 17 different and modern rooms have all the facilities. Some have a whirlpool bath and a built-in chimney and some offer a direct view on the Lys and on what we call the Three Towers in Ghent: The Saint-Bavon Cathedral, the Belfry and the Saint-Nicolas Church. The Hotel is made up of two buildings between which is found a pretty patio with a terrace where you can have the excellent (and copious!) breakfast if the weather is fine. You can relax in the outdoor heated swimming pool after a nice day of touring. The hotel is ideal for a pleasant stay in the beautiful town of Ghent.

The sloped ceiling made the room effectively much smaller than the advertised size and quite claustrophobic. Could only stand up straight within less than half the room.
Room decor was functional but basic. The light from the climate control panel could not be switched off and was like a flashlight shining onto the bed directly.
There is also a short staircase up from the ground level before reaching the elevator. No help was offered with our large suitcases.
Location however, was wonderful.
Les chambres prestiges sont vastes, avec lit à baldaquin et cheminée. Très belle salle de bain design.
Le petit déjeuner est généreux.
