Company offering a mandatory half-hour training to take a boat ride without a captain.

This company offers boats (with or without captain) for families and friends to cruise the Lys and enjoy the beautiful Ghent region, including the picturesque villages of Sint-Martens-Latem and Deurle. You can choose the route and the number of hours. You can take up to 12 people on standard boats and even cabrio mini-yachts and luxury rowboats. No boating license is required for this trip, but you will need to attend a half-hour training session beforehand.

We deden een boottocht met 10. Boot was ruim genoeg maar meer moest da5 niet geweest zijn. Je mag maximaal 8km/u varen duren het is rustig genieten, in ons geval van het zonnetje ook. We vaarden tot sint-martens-latem waar een ijsje en een terrasje beschikbaar waren. Mooie tocht en als kers op de taart nog even tot in centrum Gent varen. We kregen bij de start ook een duidelijke uitleg hie gevaren moest worden. Niet per se goedkoop (300euro) maar zeker de moeite.
