TERMINUS OF THE OUCHE VALLEY TOURIST RAILWAY - CFVO
The Chemin de Fer de la Vallée de l'Ouche in Bligny-sur-Ouche is a unique tourist attraction. Created in 1978, the association operates a former part of the Épinac railway line, one of the oldest in France. Visitors can climb aboard old steam and diesel engines and travel along this historic line. The atmosphere of yesteryear is striking, with the sound of steam and the whistle of the locomotive. The Vallée de l'Ouche steam train takes passengers back to the beginning of the 20th century, to the heart of Burgundy. Reservations are not required; simply arrive 20 minutes before departure to purchase tickets at the Bligny-sur-Ouche station. History buffs can also discover the 12 sites along the line, each with its own surprising story. A unique experience not to be missed by train and history buffs.
