One of the best addresses on the Route des Crêtes! André Schickel and his family work in the marcaire tradition and have been welcoming their clients for more than 60 years in 2 typical rooms of the Hautes-Vosges. A marcaire's meal is caloric and always copious, but there's also enough to satisfy small appetites. The farm has about forty animals that produce the milk for the munster, made in a copper pot heated over a wood fire. The terrace offers a splendid panorama of the Thur valley and the Rossberg massif.
