Artificial lake in Kruth which offers multiple leisure activities: fishing, pedal boat, canoeing, swimming...

Although planned in the 19th century, the construction of a retention basin was not effective until 1954. Entirely built on the Kruth estate, the artificial lake was put into water from 1964 onwards and its figures are impressive: 12 millionm3 of water for a maximum depth of 35 m. Un site au charme apaisant qui permet en poussant un peu l'effort, de découvrir les ruines du château de Wildenstein sur les hauteurs (parcours praticable en famille avec des indications pédagogiques intéressantes).
