Chapel with a beautiful view, a bronze statue of the Virgin and the Child Jesus of 8 m weighing 10 tons on its dome.
Built in 1896, the chapel features a dome topped by an 8-metre-high, 10-tonne gilded bronze statue of the Virgin and Child. Legend has it that a buried statuette of the Virgin Mary was discovered here in the 15th century. Since then, great names have come here to venerate her, from Louis XIV to Bossuet. The ascent is now popular with hikers, who enjoy a unique panorama of the Ouche valley.

Une chapelle située au-dessus de Velars sur Ouche et à laquelle on accède après avoir monté la colline par un petit chemin escarpé sur la fin.

Lieu de spiritualité dédié à la vierge Marie. Ramasser vos déchets et gardez la discrétion si des gens sont en train de prier.

Un lieu hors du temps. Merci aux bénévoles qui protègent le lieu et offrent une visite passionnante. Attention si vous avez du mal à marcher, vous ne pourrez pas atteindre l'endroit.

C'est un peu sport pour y monter, mais une fois tout haut le point de vue est splendide.
