32 km Auxois tourist railroad, open to weekend tourist traffic during the summer season
The Chemin de Fer Touristique de l'Auxois Association (ACTA) has been operating a 32-kilometer railroad line between Les Laumes-Alésia, Semur-en-Auxois and Époisses since 2012, crossing the typical Auxois landscape. 60 years after its closure in 1953, the line is now open to tourist traffic at weekends during the summer season. The railcar is a 1970s red and cream caravel driven by professional railwaymen who are members of the Association.
