In 2009, the third generation of Miclo family joined this beautiful family distillery which produces nearly 200 000 bottles each year in Lapoutroie. Half of them are fruit brandies that have made Miclo Distillery famous. In parallel to this traditional production of brandies, liquors and fruit creams, since 2010 it has also developed a range of flavoured vodkas and in 2016, 3 references of Alsatian single malt whiskies. There are guided tours with guide and and there is an educational circuit allowing to discover all the stages and techniques necessary for the elaboration of their spirits. It consists of 4 parts: visit of installations, broadcasting of a documentary film on the history and the techniques used by this distillery, discovery of a didactic garden with berries and plants that are used and finally enjoy freely a tasting, which is free, of their products in the convivial framework of their shop. An enriching and exhaustive visit that will delight you. Note that Lapoutroie valley offers a large number of activities within a radius of 10 km and for all tastes.
