It's not easy to find out about cooperage, because the professionals don't take visitors. Frédéric Gillet, who comes from a family of coopers, decided in 2000 to share his passion with the public by creating a space dedicated to this craft in Vignoles. Here, you'll discover fine cooperage pieces such as oak barrels and pitchers. Presentations, videos and animations retrace the history of this age-old craft. The workshop is fun and educational, and can accommodate up to 15 people. A must for wine tourism.

Bel accueil par Frédéric, tout sourire et yeux pétillants, qui nous a carrément envoutés à travers la passion qu'il a pour son métier ! Des explications claires et concrètes avec notamment le montage en équipe de l'ébauche d'un tonneau avant la découverte d'un délicieux nectar. Bonne ambiance garantie !
