BLUE DREAMS
Resurgence of the Francheville river, with turquoise blue water, whose color comes from microscopic algae.
The Creux Bleu resurgence comes from an underground river. The site was created in the 12th century by Lord Othon de Saulx to supply water to a mill. Clear, the spring has bluish reflections due to the microscopic algae that give it its name. Don't miss the 19th-century wash-house with its movable floor, which rises during floods and then falls again. A walkway allows you to discover the site at your own pace. In summer, potholers descend into the Combe aux Prêtres chasm, an underwater cave.
