LE VERGER DES HAUTES-COTES DE NUITS
Cosy and comfortable rooms offering typical Burgundy dishes in Villers-la-Faye.
Since April 2006, Joël Sauvry provides its Verger des Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, that is to say a charming house of four welcoming and comfortable rooms. Carefully decorated, with names of grand cru, they all offer relaxing views of the orchards and the gardens, the countryside, the neighbouring village, the plain of the Saône and the tower of a thirteenth century castle. As for catering, the table d'hote displays some typical dishes of Burgundy, to enjoy with a glass of good wine: parsley ham, poached eggs in red wine, coq au vin, beef bourguignon, regional cheeses, pears in wine, etc. a special menu being served on request and daily served table of the day. Finally, formed by the Guides of the country, Joel offers tours of villages and cellars around the theme of wine, stone and cassis, as well as tastings of local products, including a blackcurrant liqueur made by him - to discover during the welcome aperitif!
