A trip to the Kho Muong cave promises to take you through dazzling landscapes with rice terraces.
The Kho Muong cave has an impressive entrance. Inside, you'll see stalagmites and stalactites. Beware, however: the site is unsupervised and can be dangerous. Getting to the cave, however, is the promise of dazzling scenery, with rice terraces running down the valley to a small river, protected by the surrounding mountains. The pretty little village of Kho Muong includes a few basic homestays.
