HARTLEY HISTORIC SITE
A collection of historic properties retracing the history of the village and the courthouse dating from 1837.
Hartley is home to several historic properties, spread out along the Great Western Highway at the bottom of Victoria Pass. Seventeen buildings tell the story of the village, from the 1837 courthouse to the wood and iron Corneys Garage, built at the end of the war in 1945. You can stay in one of the newly renovated cottages, take a self-guided tour, stroll through the small village orchards or have a leisurely picnic in the sun. The site is managed by NSW National Park and Wildlife.
