Community-based tourism project that manages cultural exchange between tourists and hosts from the reserve's Muong ethnic group.
Community-based tourism projects are implemented and funded by different agencies and donors. In order to ensure that local populations play a leading role, a CBET association was created. It manages the cultural exchange between tourists and Muong guests of the reserve. Tourism revenues are used to improve the standard of living of local ethnic minorities, to support community development and to help preserve the ecosystem.
