Restaurant with terrace in front of a flowery garden offering a simple and qualitative cuisine, local dishes.

Located at the entrance to Vougeot, on the banks of the Vouge, this relaxed, family-style restaurant offers a menu of typical Burgundian dishes. Chef Baptiste Girard prepares traditional dishes with a local accent. On the à la carte menu, the obligatory escargots, gougères, oeufs meurette and persillés make your mouth water. In fine weather, enjoy the terrace between the river and the flowering garden; in cooler weather, the large, bright dining room is just the thing. A safe bet with a well-deserved reputation.

La nourriture était bonne. Le service est amical et fait de son mieux pour communiquer avec nous, car nous ne parlons pas français. Un seul bémol : un verre de vin. Un fond mouillé avec du vin rouge du réfrigérateur pour lequel 9,00 € ont été facturés. Le rapport qualité/prix est bon, sauf pour le vin.

Ce charmant restaurant a dépassé nos attentes en nous offrant un voyage culinaire qui mettait en valeur les meilleures saveurs de la région. Le menu du restaurant Au Creux de Vougeot mettait en valeur le meilleur de la cuisine bourguignonne. Chaque plat était une œuvre d'art, préparée avec talent à partir d'ingrédients locaux. De la première à la dernière bouchée, chaque assiette offrait une symphonie de saveurs reflétant l'essence de la région.
