Since its foundation in 1338, during the reign of Trân Hiên Tông, sixth representative of the Trân dynasty, the pagoda has been restored many times. Access is via a bridge over a small stream, the Do Dong. Remarkable is the wooden framework of the upper sanctuary, a rare 14th-century vestige.
