HA THAI VILLAGE (LACQUERWARE VILLAGE)
A village that retains some of its original character, such as the town hall, pagoda and picturesque old houses.
The village has retained many of the features of its original character. In the center the dinh, the communal house, and a pagoda. Following the river Tô Lich northwards, we arrive at the xom Phô, where photographers will find picturesque old houses. But Ha Thai is resolutely of its time and the manufacturing process has been turned upside down by the introduction of synthetic lacquer, which is much cheaper, easy to work with and suitable for mass production.
