LIM HILL AND PAGODA PHÂT TICH (VAN PHUC)
Just before arriving at the Phât Tich pagoda, we spend a hill, the Lim Hill which, on the 13 th day of the 1 st lunar month (see "Festivities" in Discovery), hosts the traditional quan ho festival.
On the side of Mount Lan Kha (Hache to the verganous sleeve). The pagoda was founded in 1057 under the rule of Ly Thân Thông (1054-1072). The pagoda has been rebuilt many times, especially after it was completely destroyed by the French Expeditionary Force in 1947. However, several elements belonging to previous states have been preserved, in particular a xie century Buddha, as well as beautiful statues of fabulous animals, also stone and probably pre-dating back to the seventeenth century. The pagoda also houses the mummy of a bonze, coated with lacquer, and dating back to the seventeenth century.
