REMAINS OF THE PALACES OF THE TRÂN
In the same hamlet as the Pho Minh Pagoda. The remains of these royal residences cover a dozen hectares comprising the Thien Truong and Co Trach temples dedicated to Trân kings and Trân Hung Dao. History tells us that, in the th century, King Trân had built a royal residence in his village of Tuc Mac. Today, only the temple of Thua Thuong honouring the 14 kings of the Trân dynasty testifies to this prestigious past. The temple of Co Trach is dedicated to Trân Hung Dao (born Trân Quôc Tuan, 1226-1300), the winner of the battle of Bach Dang (1288), during which the fleet of the Mongolian invader was defeated.
