A boat trip across land-locked Halong Bay is a must for discovering the sumptuous landscapes of Tam Côc. The technique of the rowers, who use their feet, is one of the charms of the trip. The main circuit departs from Van Lam pier, and tickets are on sale at the village entrance. This area was once covered by the sea. The twisted shapes of the rocks are the result of the erosion process. It was also a rallying point for the Viêt-Minh during the Indochina war.

Nous y sommes allé en juillet, donc en basse saison et à 16h! Nous n'avons croisé que quelques barques et du coup, nous avons pu profiter du calme de la ballade! le paysage est vraiment magnifique. Le seul point négatif est le prix! Aie! mais à faire quand même!

This walk was magic. We met 9 caves and some breaks for tours of temples. Leaving early in the morning that avoids seeing the landscape with too much tourist to life jackets (that can be seen from afar and for photos do is not top!) women who paddle are extremely has nice and at the end of the trip paddle in the feet... To see!!!!!

Ce lieu est superbe mais les hordes de touristes gâchent tout! Il faut vraiment choisir le bon moment pour y aller, tot le matin et donc en dormant sur place...plan qu auçune agence ne vous proposera pourtant...tip un peu trop harcelant sur les barques...comme a bcp d endroits au vietnam

Merveilleuse balade en barque de deux heures pour découvrir la Baie d'Halong terrestre. Et quel silence après les clameurs de Hanoï! Même par temps pluvieux, les pitons dégagent une sorte de magie et les grottes sont autant de surprises. Dommage que notre rameuse ait un peu trop lourdement insisté pour avoir un pourboire plus que significatif...
