Mua Mountain is home to an 800m2 grotto and a small pagoda dedicated to Quan Âm, perched high on a rocky outcrop and distinguished by its dragons. The pagoda is of very ancient foundation (Trân dynasty). Access is via an interminable flight of steps. The climb is a little tough, but the reward is a fantastic panorama of the Tam Côc landscape from the various viewpoints . This is a very popular spot, so it's best to avoid visiting at weekends and opt for the (very) early hours of the morning on weekdays.
