FREDERIKSDORP RESTAURANT
A haven of peace during your visits to the plantations. The rooms are all new and hammocks are available to make a break at any time of the day (without having to sleep at night). The friendly director will explain to you the history of the places and on request, you will open the doors of a small museum, which has many forgotten treasures. Among other things: for specialists, the porcelain Petrus Regout (Sphinx) dating from 1836 and coming from Maastricht, old pipes dating from slavery, on the side of an old telephone of the time, further from the bottles and ancient encriers, Dutch bicycle plates, some of which were gaps because their owners could not pay the obligatory tax at the time… and an exclusive for the Guiana: administrative correspondence and state of expenses of gang of the Salvation islands in French Guiana. The restaurant, for its part, offers unique and local dishes. Open to meal hours (, noon,) and deliveries upon request.
