JACOB V. BROWER VISITOR CENTER
To discover the park at best, first visit the main visitor centre, Jacob V. Brower - the name of the creator of the park in 1891. We learn from the various permanent exhibitions that Itasca is the oldest park in Minnesota, or that it is following the purchase of Louisiana that the source of the Mississippi was chosen.
By leaving the visitors'centre, don't miss a map and, above all, take a look at the model that represents the park, in order to find you. You can then continue on Main Park Drive, north and Mary Gibbs Visitor Center.
