Tovo welcomes you with energy. Here we work as a family and we make sure that visitors can rest and leave the next day: breakfast is usually served at 7am for a takeoff at 7:30am. Tropical setting, in the middle of which are scattered rustic bungalows, poorly soundproofed, and a restaurant... correct. Simple and authentically Gasy, even rudimentary, but in the end we are satisfied with it... That's good, we don't have any other choice anyway! Not much to do in Manja, however Kanto opens its bar-boutique from 7am to 9pm, musical atmosphere in the evening, you become a bit the tourist attraction of the village. Remember to order a sandwich and water for the long drive the next day (count 11am and 12pm to Andavadoaka).

This hotel was much better than we expected (we had really low expectations based on what we found online beforehand). The rooms are actually bungalows in a really nice garden in the town of Manja. The garden is walled-in and we felt very safe. The food was really, really good in the hotel. We paid 68,000 Ar for two persons for one night, including dinner and breakfast. We called via skype from home to book (in French), and even though I didn't understand one word of what the woman said on the phone, they had our reservation when we arrived. There is no hot water, and the bungalows are small, but they are clean, and this is a good place to stay if you want to do Tulear - Morondava by car (it's more or less the only option).
