Zemplínska Šírava is the second largest artificial lake in Slovakia with 33 km2 and offers a great opportunity for swimming and summer water activities such as windsurfing and water skiing. With average water temperatures averaging around 25°C during the summer, it is no surprise that this wilderness area is becoming a popular destination among Slovak holidaymakers.
