A little frequented park with 279 species of aquatic and migratory birds from the country and even from Central America
This little frequented park sometimes turns into a huge lagoon and the effects of the tides, the soil conditions, the drainage and the topographic consequences form about 15 ecological habitats! One can observe aquatic plants, majestic ceiba and some crocodiles... And with its 279 species of aquatic and terrestrial birds, Palo Verde is considered the largest colony of aquatic and migratory birds in Central America!

Idéal pour rencontrer singes, iguanes, crocodiles, oiseaux..... Pour notre part nous y sommes allés en excursion organisée par notre hôtel (Flamingo Beach Resort) et nous ne l'avons pas regretté. Excursion en barque dans la mangrove à la rencontre de bêtes sauvages! Longue mais belle journée. Un conseil, si vous parlez espagnol, sympathiser avec les accompagnateurs sur les barques, ils vont feront voir ce que votre œil non avisé ne verrais pas.
