Museum of Bangor organizing an interesting tour to see the collection of over 3,800 works and paintings of artists.
This recently renovated museum of modern art, with its spacious, contemporary galleries, boasts a fine collection of over 3,800 works by artists, many dating from after 1945. Among them are Max Beckmann, Georges Braque, David Hockney, Edward Hopper, Roy Lichtenstein, Pablo Picasso, Diego Rivera and Andy Warhol. It's also worth visiting this museum to see paintings by some of New England's greatest artists: Berenice Abbott, Richard Estes, Winslow Homer, Alex Katz, John Marin, Emily Muir, Neil Welliver and Andrew Wyeth.
