Park administrative offices provide maps of the various hiking trails for download from the website.
Permits and other camping reservations are issued by the park administration offices. You can stop by or check the website which gives daily weather conditions in the park and a lot of useful tips. On the site, you can also download maps of the various hiking trails (which extend over 125 miles) and even reserve your parking space if you decide to do the hike to Mount Katahdin (reservations are made two weeks in advance and cost US$5).
