LILY BAY STATE PARK
State park 15 miles from Greenville with a campsite, boat ramp and hiking trails
This state park located 15 miles from Greenville on the right bank of Moosehead Lake has a campground, boat ramp, hiking trails and other basic amenities. From the park you can see Mount Kineo, which sits in the middle of the lake. A 2 mile hiking trail runs through the park. For the record (which is out of the ordinary), the park was established in 1961, after the Scott Paper Company, a famous toilet paper brand in the United States that owned the land, gave it to the state as a gift!
