ALAS PUTUMAYO

A local NGO born from the initiative of Corpoamazonia, whose mission is the conservation of the birds of the south of the country and in particular of Putumayo. The association offers specialized outings for bird lovers. More than 400 species have been recorded in the area around Mocoa. Among the most emblematic birds: the Gorrión montés Ojiblanco(Atlapetes leucopis), the Jacamar Cobrizo(Galbula pastazae), the Tangara gorgiamarilla(Iridosornis analis), the Coqueta crestada(Discosura popelairii), or the Batará vermiculado(Thamnophilus tenuepunctatus)
