NORMAN ROCKWELL MUSEUM
Museum that houses original works by Rockwell, as well as objects, books and furniture that belonged to him
Painter Norman Rockwell spent the last 25 years of his life in the Berkshires and contributed greatly to the development of the arts in the region. In 1973, he decided to collect his works in a house in Stockbridge, and after his death, the collection was made public. The museum houses nearly 1,000 original works by Rockwell, as well as objects, books and furniture that belonged to him. During the season, visitors can visit his studio, which he had built in the courtyard of his home and which has been moved to a location near the museum.
