Near the Baye et Vaux ponds, along the Canal du Nivernais, stop off at the La Marine restaurant. An address well known for its authentic cuisine. The dishes here are rather traditional, evolving with the seasons. So, when we came to the Gourmand menu, we enjoyed the gourmet salad (foie gras and smoked duck breast), the gourmet filet of Charolais beef with foie gras sauce and potato gratin, finishing with a coffee. Gourmet, of course! An address to savour on your walks in the Morvan.

L'entrecôte est bonne ...
Tellement bons que nous sommes revenus une semaine plus tard pour un autre excellent repas. Cette fois-ci, des escargots suivis d'un filet de bœuf et des vins d'accompagnement avec l'aide de notre serveur.
(Des prises électriques sont à disposition des itinérants : cela vaudrait une sixième étoile)
