GM CORVETTE ASSEMBLY PLANT
General Motors began production of the Corvette at Bowling Green in 1981. Today for over 30 years, every Corvette manufactured worldwide is produced here. With over 1,5 million copies already built, it is the oldest model of cars produced worldwide. To assemble the last Stingray model (7 th generation), the factory underwent an important upgrade. $ 131 million was invested, including $ 52 million for a new bodywork workshop. The plant occupies 9 hectares on the 212 hectares of the site, or 17 football fields. During your visit, you can see, step by step, the production of America's favourite sports car. The National Corvette Museum and the public open circuit are located nearby.
