It was in 1997 that five Habitants residents were planning to establish a museum to tell the story of the city and the region. The Tunica Museum will allow you to discover several exciting exhibitions: wildlife, history, policy or geography of the region. From Chickasaws who gave their land to the colonists in 1818 when the first casinos were set up and the town expanded as a pole of game and recreation in 1992, through the war of Secession and the exploitation of cotton, you will know everything that has allowed the region to become what it is today.
