At the time of hot summer or October's hot weather, Heintooga Ridge Road, which runs through Queensway mountain to the southeast of the park, is an excellent retreat. Many panoramic views over the mountain and on the bottom side one of the best exhibits of wild flowers. The views cast on the vast expanses where the Cherokee Indians took refuge to escape their deportation on the « trail of tears ».
