This art museum, founded in 1913, is part of the University of Rochester. Its collections, which include more than 12,000 works of art, are quite impressive for a city of this size, both in terms of quantity and quality. You can admire objects from all over the world: thousands of years old Egyptian jewellery, paintings by masters (Monet, Cézanne and Rembrandt) and a fine collection of modern art. Not to be missed.
