Neo-Baroque castle surrounded by a large park in Maruševec, a fine example of German eclecticism.
The Neo-Baroque castle was built in 1877 by the architect A. Schlippenbac in the western county of Varaždin, 17 km northwest of Lepoglava. Schlippenbac. The copy of styles (Gothic, Italian Renaissance, Viennese Baroque) combines the formalisms of northern and southern Europe. A fine example of German eclecticism. In the 2000s, the government began the process of returning the property to the heirs.
