If you've always wanted to know the secrets behind the production of one of the world's finest rums, the small village of Chichigalpa is the place to quench your thirst for curiosity and discover the history of Flor de Caña on a guided tour. You'll pass through six stations: the locomotive, the Adela cinema, the family storeroom, the museum, the barrel-making plant and the bodega. The tour takes you through the aromas and vats where Nicaraguan rum is aged for between four and twenty-five years! The visit culminates in a tasting session.
