Follow in the footsteps of man's origins in this museum, founded in 1902 by Prince Albert I. Discover the results of excavations carried out in and around the area, and relive the major stages of human evolution through the ice ages and interglacial periods. The museum, which is also a research institute, carries out excavations and studies, and also offers mediation services. The new building, dating from 1959, is the work of Monegasque architect Louis Rué.

Si vous passez à Monaco allez voir ce superbe musée d anthropologie avec son exposition permanente et son beau mammouth laineux si vous avez des enfants le musée propose des jeux de pistes ....

Encore mieux si on l'intercale dans les heures les plus chaudes, pour mieux profiter après et avant du parc bien aménagé et de sa vue imprenable sur la côte et la principauté... Petit conseil : demander à l'office du tourisme la carte des escalators et des itinéraires piétonniers pour un accès plus agréable vers le jardin exotique et le parc du musée : combiner les 2 visites est mieux vu leur distance par rapport au centre de Monaco.
