Local culinary specialties

If you enjoyed your stay in Monaco, why not bring back home some of the local specialties and delicacies, to enjoy the Principality's cuisine even more? Here are a few ideas to extend your stay from home, or to let your loved ones taste the delights that Monaco has to offer!

Les pavés du Rocher. These sweet treats designed for Prince Rainier III's birthday, made with cream, milk, honey, sugar, orange, lemon and almonds, will delight the most gourmand. You can buy a souvenir box at the Maison Mullot, the Prince's patented supplier!

The chocolates of Monaco. The Chocolate Factory of Monaco, located on the Rock, a stone's throw from the Oceanographic Museum and the National Council, sells delicious, customizable ballotins, to slip into your bag for a gourmet break or to give as a gift on your return. Since 1920, this traditional store has been delighting the Principality: the hardest part will be choosing the confectionery and the box.

The Orangery and the Carruba. These two liqueurs come from the only distillery in the Principality. The first one is made from bitter orange, the second one from the fruits of the carob tree, the national tree of Monaco. In bottle, gift box or mignonette: you have what it takes to bring the Monegasque sun in your luggage!

Brewed beer. Still in the field of aperitifs, the Brasserie de Monaco, on Port Hercule, offers a 100% local, handcrafted beer. Bière de Monaco®, made from organic malts, is available in white, blonde or amber; a seasonal beer is also available. The Brewery has even been distinguished in France and internationally for the quality of its beer, so you can't go wrong! The silk-screened bottles and mugs add a traditional touch that beer lovers will particularly appreciate

Monegasque, Italian and Côte d'Azur treasures. Take advantage of your stay in Monaco to bring back some Mediterranean culinary specialties, which can be found in the Principality's delicatessens. Olive oils, vinegars, honeys, jams, hams, cheeses, tapenades... Garnish your kitchen with incomparable flavors that will make you travel with each bite

Local crafts

The porcelain of Monaco. If you have enough room in your luggage, and your journey promises not to be too chaotic, why not treat yourself to the magnificent Monegasque porcelain, created by the Manufacture de Monaco since 1972 and official supplier to the Prince? You will find a delicate porcelain, declined in very traditional or contemporary collections. Plates, cups, vases, candles, bowls, ashtrays or small candy boxes; painted coats of arms, inlaid crystals, shimmering or pure colors... The choice is wide!

Sports memorabilia

Have you always dreamed of being a great pilot or playing in the Champions League? It's a good thing! In Monaco, join the Ferrari team in Formula 1, or join AS Monaco, thanks to a selection of red and white goodies.

Caps, t-shirts, jerseys, bags, watches, hats, gloves, scarves, leather goods, or even bodies and bibs for baby fans... You have enough to add a little sport in your wardrobe!

As for decoration, you can bet on mugs, beach towels, fake license plates, posters, bottle openers, speakers and, of course, soccer balls. And if your passion follows you to the office, why not opt for a pen, a diary or a USB key in the colors of the Principality's teams?

You can find a wide range of AS Monaco and Grand Prix products in the official boutiques on the Promenade Honoré II and Rue Grimaldi respectively.

Stamps, coins, magnets and postcards

Notice to collectors, this section is made for you! Monaco offers a lot of souvenirs at low prices, which will add to your personal collection or those of your loved ones.

Stamps in the colors of the Principality. Philatelists will be spoilt for choice, as Monaco has its own Museum of Stamps and Coinage! This is where you can enrich (or start) your collection, with stamps bearing the effigy of the Principality's great names, such as Grace Kelly, or in the image of major events, especially sports events. Some stamps are even limited editions, so if one of them catches your eye, don't hesitate!

Coins with princely faces. This same museum will satisfy numismatic lovers, with unique coins to collect. You will find there in particular francs struck with the profile of Prince Rainier III or medals. Of course, if you pay in cash in Monegasque shops, if you get change, you may receive 100% Monaco euros, with the effigy of Prince Albert II or Prince Rainier III, or with the Principality's coat of arms. And if you are particularly lucky, you may receive a coin bearing the image of Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene. If this is the case, keep it preciously: it is part of the 15,000 coins minted in limited edition to celebrate the ten years of the princely marriage and were sold at a price of 120 euros each!

Traditional magnets and postcards. Of course, you can decorate your fridge or write to your loved ones in Monegasque colors! There are many points of sale in the Principality, you just have to decide what best represents Monaco in your eyes. A racing car? The Prince's Palace? Or the Hotel de Paris in Monte-Carlo? The choice is yours!

Museum Memories

If you visit one of the many museums in the Principality, you will of course find the inevitable souvenir stores, where books, notebooks, stuffed animals, games, clothes and other accessories will allow you to extend your visit at home.

The Oceanographic Museum or the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology, for example, sell many souvenirs for all ages to take home. Whether you want to decorate, have fun or learn more about the collections on display, you're sure to find something you like
