In a quiet street not far from the golf course, the Mufatse is one of Malawi's many humble guesthouses. Spartan but recently renovated, backpackers should be able to make do with the basic comforts on offer. Most rooms share rudimentary communal sanitary facilities. The level bare earth camping area, however, is quiet and relatively comfortable. An excellent welcome from the staff, who will be happy to advise you on the organization of your stay.
