A few kilometers east of Lilongwe, this lodge is one of the region's most luxurious addresses. Madonna has made it her home when she visits the country. The rooms, nestled in traditional cottages with private verandas, are comfortable and sober. The restaurant is housed in a large wooden African pavilion overlooking a lush garden and swimming pool. Its terrace offers idyllic views over the countryside. Fruits and vegetables cooked in the restaurant are grown in the garden, including bananas grown on 30 hectares.
