AFRICAN HABITAT

This is one of the capital's finest craft galleries. The store was set up in 2000 by an Italian owner and offers a wide range of finely crafted handicrafts and curiosities from the country and other countries such as Eswatini (Swaziland), Tanzania and Zimbabwe. Chitenje stuffed animals, handmade soaps, unique sculptures and jewelry, printed household linen in chitenje and tribal textiles (towels and tablecloths, quilts and pillowcases), Malawi art cards. All items are sold on a fair-trade basis.
