Within the reserve's perimeter, the pleasant Bua River Lodge borders the eponymous riverbed. It will delight those who cherish tranquillity. The large, airy straw hut, which serves as restaurant, bar and observation post, is attractive with its comfortable sofas and elaborate lampshades. Binoculars are available for spotting elephants and crocodiles, while the many books on hand make it easy to identify the native flora and fauna. Simple, comfortable rooms. No wifi.
