LA GABARE
Restaurant offering a cuisine rich in authentic flavors.
Just 2 minutes from Nevers, this restaurant is housed in an old farmhouse whose entrance hall features a reproduction of a gabare, the work of a former sailor from the Nevers earthenware factory. Hence the name! Chef Dominique Dany, a member of the prestigious Toques Nivernaises, serves up a cuisine rich in flavors. On the day of our visit, we particularly liked the scrambled eggs with salmon pearls, followed by a traditional calf's head, before finishing with honey-roasted apricots. A fine table that we highly recommend.
